  • FBC formed and manages two women communities:
  • FBC’s women partners community: an active community, supporting its members both professionally and socially.
  • FBC’s professional staff community: includes women legal professionals - partners and associates, and provides unique support mainly on personal aspects of its members, including, for example, during the COVID-19 quarantine – support with respect to house and kids management, and challenges arising from working at home with the presence of the family.
  • FBC is a leader, compared to other Israeli law firms of its scale, in the number and share of its women partners and practice leaders.
  • FBC permits unique flexibility for its professionals with respect to working hours and location, including a policy of one shorter working day a week for all professionals, and a comfortable infrastructure allowing remote work; all – without any change in employment terms or promotion opportunities
  • FBC takes part in several initiatives led by Wizo, one of Israel’s largest organizations for the promotion of women (http://www.wizo.org/), specifically addressed to promote change in the Israeli legal services sector. This year FBC hosted the annual convention of women partners in many Israeli law firms.
  • FBC’s recruitment policy includes specific focus on diversity. We specifically target women from diverse communities, including social minorities.
  • FBC cooperates with Israeli Women’s Network (https://iwn.org.il/english/about-the-israel-womens-network/) one of Israel’s prominent public associations for the promotion of gender equality. Our cooperation includes both donation and joint projects.
  • FBC provides pro bono representation to different associations supporting social and equality related services, including gender related. Specifically, we support the Israeli association and centers for support of sexual attack victims.
