Ira A. Eddymurthy is a founding partner of SSEK Legal Consultants. She has more than three decades of experience advising multinationals and domestic companies on Indonesia’s complex regulatory environment.

Ira is recognized by leading legal directories as a leading practitioner in Indonesia for banking, corporate law, and mergers and acquisitions.

SSEK is an all-female founded law. When Ira Eddymurthy and three other women established SSEK in 1992, most law firms in Indonesia were male-dominated. Over the next three decades, SSEK has succeeded in building a strong environment of mentorship, gender equality, kinship and ownership.

SSEK is very flexible in terms of schedules and work from home arrangements to help our people balance family and work responsibilities. The firm invests in the development and success of our lawyers. SSEK offers scholarships for top performers to enable them to deepen their knowledge, explore opportunities and grow as individuals.
