Cinven/Permira/Mid Europa Partners $3.253 billion acquisition of Allegro Group

• A consortium made up of Cinven, Permira and Mid Europa Partners has acquired Allegro Group for $3.253 billion from Naspers.
• Allegro is a Polish online shopping company and owns shopping sites Allegro.pl and Ceneo.pl. 
• The company employs 1,275 people in five offices across Poland and has 20 million registered users.
• Naspers is a South Africa based internet and entertainment group and technology investor.
• Morgan Stanley advised Naspers as financial adviser. Goldman Sachs and Macquarie acted for the acquirers.
