The South African office of international firm Baker & McKenzie has added two new banking and finance partners, one from a local firm and one from its London office.

Jennifer Stolp joins the team from fellow Johannesburg firm and DLA partner Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr. Chris Hogan, meanwhile, has joined the practice from the London and will help boost the English law capability of the office. Hogan’s move follows on from the switch from London to Johannesburg earlier in the year by Frances Okosi.

"From day one we have set out to build market leading transactional practices," said Wildu du Plessis, managing partner of the Johannesburg office and head of the banking and finance practice. "With the arrival of Chris and Jennifer we have not only considerably advanced this but now have added bench strength in servicing our banking and corporate clients.”
