DLA Piper has found a new head for its institutional investor practice at its New York office.

In addition to leading the insitutional investor group, Yasho Lahiri will serve as a partner in the firm's corporate and investment funds practices.

Lahiri comes to the firm from US firm Sutherland Asbill & Brennan. His background includes representing fund sponsors and insitutional investors in relation to the formation, capitalisation, and restructuring of private investment funds all over the world.
