Yasin Chowdhury

Yasin is an associate in the Corporate team of the firm. He specializes corporate and commercial advisory work and non-contentious matters. This includes, inter alia, acquisition of private companies and banks, setting up limited companies in Oman, advising foreign companies on joint ventures and other commercial issues, loan syndication for large projects and drafting commercial contracts in general.

Yasin has obtained LLM in International Trade Law from London Metropolitan University in UK and holds a GDL from BPP University, UK. He is also an honorary alumni of Dickinson College, USA.

• Yasin also advises on issues pertaining to mergers & acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures (both entry and exit), foreign collaborations, technology transfers, asset sales etc. and has been the lead attorney in successfully representing several Omani and foreign companies in several transactions.
• Yasinregularly advises leading international companies in their operations in Oman and has assisted major retail brands to set up their businesses in Oman.
