Sascha Hödl

Sascha Hödl is a partner in Schoenherr’s corporate / m&a practice. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers and corporate restructurings. He frequently advises Austrian managing and supervisory boards on a broad range of corporate matters. He has been, and is involved in high profile m&a transactions in Austria, in particular in regulated areas (e.g. financial services, telecoms, energy) and continues to play a prominent advisory role in restructuring transactions of financial institutions. During the COVID-19 crises, he advised the financial aid state agency of the Republic of Austria in designing and implementing the various financial aid measures to the Austrian economy. Sascha has a degree from Harvard Law School (LLM. 2000) and is a lecturer for international mergers and acquisitions at the Vienna Business School.
