Adina Chilim-Dumitriu, Executive Partner, has 28 years of experience in the legal profession and co-heads the Corporate M&A and the Public Procurement and PPP practices.

Adina is widely recognized for her expertise in the public procurement and infrastructure field, having contributed to many of the landmark projects completed in Romania in this sector. Additionally, she has a strong track record in assisting clients active in the military and defense sector, being involved in numerous military procurement programs undertaken in Romania in the air, naval, land, and communications areas.

Throughout her career, Adina advised clients in large projects that have shaped the local economic landscape, including cross-border M&A deals, joint ventures, IT and media regulatory, and some of the largest privatizations in Romania.

  • Advised a Canadian manufacturer of luxury winter clothing on the acquisition of the knitting manufacturing business operated in Romania by certain Italian designers.

  • Part of the international team of advisors that assisted CANCOM SE, one of the leading integrated IT service providers in Germany, in the acquisition of K-Businesscom-Group and all its subsidiaries, Austria’s leading provider of IT&C solutions and services.

  • Advised a construction consortium in one of the largest public procurement procedures (by value) ever organized in Romania and one of the most important transport projects, connecting Romania to the rest of Europe via the first high-speed railway line connection.
