In over 5 years of commercial practice, she has been involved in a wide range of matters, including general corporate advisory, fund formations, private equity, capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, and real estate.

Her extensive experience in private equity and mergers & acquisitions has seen her advising on and structuring complex transactions, facilitating seamless negotiations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. 

She has a proven track record of representing clients in high-stakes deals, guiding them through the intricacies of acquisitions, mergers, and divestments. In the realm of fund formations, she has assisted in the establishment and registration of private equity and venture capital funds, as well as fund managers, with the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission, providing strategic counsel on legal and regulatory frameworks. Her real estate practice includes advising on property acquisitions, leases, and development projects, with a keen understanding of the legal nuances in the sector. Aanu has also been recognised as a Recommended Lawyer in the Commercial, Corporate, and M&A practice group in the Legal 500 EMEA 2024 rankings.
