Larry Kwok

Prior to founding Kwok Yih & Chan, Larry Kwok was the Managing Partner of an international firm in Hong Kong. Qualified both as a lawyer and an accountant, his practice covers corporate finance, capital markets (equity), mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring and regulatory investigation work, and advice on complex transactions.

• Acted for the former directors of one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world in respect of a confidential investigation by a regulatory authority arising from violation of export control regulations.
• Advising International Entertainment Corporation in connection with the acquisition of Oriental-Invest Properties Limited which owns a hotel complex in the Philippines, for a consideration of HK$50 million settled by way of convertible bonds.
• Advised Huayu Expressway Group Limited on a substantial disposal of 30% interest in Sui-Yue Expressway (Hunan Section) located in Hunan Province of the PRC of RMB 350 million worth to a subsidiary of NWS Holdings Limited as well as the joint venture with NWS group for managing the expressway.
• Advised Baoye Group Company Limited on a disposal of 33% interest in Hebao (Nantong) Real Estate Development Co Ltd, a Sino-Japanese property development joint venture enterprise incorporated in the PRC, of approx RMB 307 million worth to Daiwa House Industry Co Ltd.
