Ms. Tan Ge is a partner of Fangda’s Banking and Finance practice group and heads the firm’s aviation practice. She provides comprehensive advice on various banking and financing transactions and possess extensive expertise in corporate affairs related to the aviation industry, as well as aviation regulatory matters.
Ms. Tan advises a wide range of domestic and international financial institutions on diverse financing arrangements, including structured financing arrangements covering PDP financing, asset backed securitization, Japanese operating lease (JOL), French tax leases, ECA-backed financing, and US Ex-Im financing, etc.
- Aviation Leasing and Finance
Ms. Tan has continuously been ranked as Band 1 Lawyer by Chambers, and the aviation finance team she leads has earned the same recognition. She advises on aviation finance and leasing matters for both commercial and business aircraft, as well as freighters. Her experience covers domestic and cross-border acquisition and sale transactions in relation to new and used aircraft and other aviation equipment, serving leasing companies, airlines, and other aviation enterprises. This includes handling PRC state-owned asset sales and disposals for used aircraft, as well as disposition transactions combined with post-sale leaseback structures.
Ms. Tan is distinguished as one of the few PRC legal counsels with top-tier expertise in both national and international aviation markets. She is highly engaged in managing a broad range of domestic and cross-border civil aviation matters.
Ms. Tan provides multi-dimensional corporate and business legal services to domestic and foreign aviation companies, aviation maintenance providers, business jet managers, leasing companies, and other entities. Her services also include consulting on CAAC management norms, route operating permits, establishing branches in China, aviation equipment imports, aviation insurance, and reviewing commercial contracts and agreements in the aviation sector.
