Joyce Zhou specializes in banking and debt finance. She has over 14 years’ experience practicing in this sector and is experienced in advising foreign investors and financial institutions as well as Chinese banks and PRC sponsors in PRC assets based or PRC related financing transactions.

• Advised a group of lenders led by China Merchants Bank in the US$800 million financing project for the acquisition of Mead Johnson China business;
• Advised China Merchants Bank in the HK$2.3 billion financing project for the privatization of Xinghua Port Holdings Ltd. (SEHK: 01990) by way of a voluntary conditional general cash offer;
• Advised a group of lenders led by CMB Wing Lung bank in the up to RMB7,069,000,000 equivalent HK Dollar financing project of the strategic investment in China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd. which is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (stock code: 000039) and the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (stock code: 2039);
• Advised the buyer group led by Mr. Zhou Hongyi in an RMB equivalent of US$3,000,000,000 financing project for the privatization of Qihoo 360 Technology Co., Ltd.;
• Advised the buyer group consisted of Boyu Capital, Ally Bridge, Temasek, Yunfeng Capital, Sequoia and Hillhouse in the US$800,000,000 financing project for privatization of WuXi PharmaTech (Cayman) Inc., which was listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
