Managing Partner Clemens Hasenauer is Head of Department Corporate Transactions focusing on M&A and public takeover transactions. He heads the Department since the year 2007. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, takeover law, banking and finance, reorganisations and restructurings.

His broad experience includes numerous complex public and private M&A transactions, and he is particularly renowned for structuring large international joint ventures and public takeovers. In past years Clemens regularly advised on Austria’s most prominent transactions.

  • OMV AG as lead counsel in connection with the establishment of a Joint Venture between OMV Deutschland GmbH and ALBA Recycling GmbH and on all legal matters relating to the sale of its AVANTI service station network in Germany to the PKN Orlen Group, a Polish energy group
  • Advice to OMV AG in connection with the intended acquisition by ADNOC of Mubadala's 24.9% interest in OMV
  • International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF) on the Austrian aspects of the sales transaction, which included Savory Solutions Group, (as well as WIBERG GmbH and Frutarom Savory Solutions Austria GmbH, based in Salzburg, which have worldwide operations).
