Clemens Hasenauer

Managing Partner Clemens Hasenauer is Head of Department Corporate Transactions since 2007, specialising in M&A, public takeover transactions, banking and finance, reorganisations and restructurings. He is particularly renowned for structuring large international joint ventures and public takeovers. Clemens regularly advises on Austria’s most prominent M&A deals. Clemens is a university lecturer and author of numerous publications.

• Advised OMV AG in the approx. USD 4.7 billion purchase price for the acquisition of 39% stake in Borealis AG from Mubadala Group.
• Advised XXX Lutz Group in the acquisition of Conforama France and the purchase of 22 furniture stores located throughout CEE.
• Advised OMV AG on the EUR 485 million sale of 285 filling stations to British EG Group.
• Advised OMV AG on the sale of its 51% stake in GAS CONNECT AUSTRIA GmbH to Verbund AG.
