Boga & Associates is a leading law firm established in Albania in 1993. The firm has grown over the years and has an additional office in Kosovo. Previously part of the KMPG Network until 2007, Boga & Associates is one of the top law firms in Kosovo. The firm has a team of prominent lawyers led by managing partner Genc Boga. The firm is active in financial and corporate practice where it advises on corporate deal and financial services regulatory deals.

Highlights

Boga & Associates assisted the International Finance Corporation (“IFC”) with respect to a loan in an aggregate amount of up to EUR 3,500,000 that IFC provided to Newko Balkan SH.P.K. Their work included reviewing and negotiating an English law governed loan agreement, advising on the DSRA mechanics from a Kosovo law perspective, and negotiating and finalizing a Kosovo law governed share pledge agreement, account pledge agreement, mortgage agreement, and assignment of shareholder loans agreement. The transaction closed in January 2024.

The team also assists TEB Holding in its day-to-day activities, such as commercial advice and client assistance arising from banking operations.
