In June 2026 Winston & Strawn and Taylor Wessing officially completed their merger to form a new integrated transatlantic partnership named Winston Taylor. The new firm has offices across the US, the UK, Western Europe markets and the United Arab Emirates.

Winston Taylor has a growing London practice with strengths across private equity, finance and M&A. The firm's borrower-side and lender-side finance practices, with expertise in leveraged finance, structured lending, asset-based facilities and restructurings, is led by the likes of Ian Borman and Aparna Sehgal. The firm also has a strong M&A practice, led by London co-chair Nicholas Usher, and capital markets co-chairs Adam Howard and Paul Amiss. The team advises on cross-border transactions across sectors including financial services, healthcare, technology and infrastructure.

Winston & Strawn's legacy offices were all absorbed into Winston Taylor, however several Taylor Wessing offices were carved out of the merger, most notably in Germany. In France and Netherlands, Winston Taylor and Taylor Wessing co-exist.
