Established in 1995 Karanovic & Partners is a leading Serbian firm with a European network that includes offices in six jurisdictions. The Croatian branch of the firm, established in 2012 in cooperation with Ilej & Partners, is based in Zagreb. The firm has a particular focus on project development and financial and corporate deals.

Highlights 

The firm advised Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) on their strategic investment in Gideon. The transaction closed in September 2024. 

The also advised on the sale of 50.1% controlling stake in SEE Bakery Topco (target company) from Mid Europa Partners to FFR (BOSQAR), as part of a transaction that shifts control of Mlinar from sole control by Mid Europa Partners to joint control by Mid Europa Partners and BOSQAR Invest Group. The transaction closed in December 2024.
