Dispute Resolution – Abdullah Alnajjar (aalnajjar@meysan.com)
Meysan has swiftly forged a reputation as one of the most prominent and well-respected law firms in UAE. Our lawyers provide counsel on complex transactional matters that clients expect only from large international law firms, as we act mostly as lead transaction counsel, while other firms tend to do more local counsel mandates. Our lawyers in the UAE advise a diversified client base ranging from international and regional leading firms to private clients.
Some examples of the matters we work on for our diverse clientele are:

  • Representing Iraq Telecom limited in multiple matters, involving various bodies including the International Chamber of Commerce and the Dubai International Financial Centre, in cases amounting to billions of AED in value.
  • Acting successfully for the Commercial International Bank in a claim with the Dubai Courts to recover a real estate loan wrongfully withheld from the client
  • Acting for Sanam Real Estate Co in a dispute over a plot of land, successfully bringing about the transfer and registration in our client's name.
  • Acting for Al Farwaniya Property Development & Reem Mall in a lawsuit seeking to hold them liable for certain debts; the court found they were not guilty and unconnected to the case.

Corporate – Bader El Jeaan (beljeaan@meysan.com)
Our UAE firm is recognized for its work on high-profile complex transaction matters, led by our Managing Partner, Bader El-Jeaan, who is considered the go-to lawyer for complex M&A transactions. Some recent examples are:
