  • US private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) and Canadian institutional investor Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) have acquired USI Insurance Services in a $4.3 billion deal.
  • USI had been a portfolio company of seller Onex Corporation.
  • Onex had acquired USI from a fund managed by Goldman Sachs for $2.3 billion in 2012.
