Xander/APG Strategic Real Estate Pool $300 million joint venture

Overview:

• The Xander Group, an emerging markets investment firm, has established a joint venture with APG Strategic Real Estate Pool (APG), a fund of APG Asset Management, to invest $450 million in retail developments in India.
• The joint venture has acquired a portfolio of three retail assets from a Xander sponsored fund for $300 million.
• APG and Xander also committed an additional $150 million as equity capital to expand the portfolio through further acquisitions and greenfield development.
