Overview:

  • Private equity firm Thoma Bravo has entered into an agreement to acquire Salt Lake City based education technology company Instructure for $2 billion.
  • Instructure shareholders will receive $47.60 per share as part of the deal, an 18% premium from Instructure’s three-month volume weighted average price as of October 27, 2019.
  • Instructure’s current management team will continue to head the company once the deal closes in Q1 2020.
