BNY Mellon $1 billion depositary shares offering

Overview:

• Bank of New York Mellon Corporation offered 1 million depository shares.
• The shares were priced at $1,000 per a depository share. 
• The company used the proceeds from the offer to repurchase up to $700 million of its common stock.
• Goldman Sachs, Citigroup Global Markets, Deutsche Bank Securities and BNY Mellon Capital Markets acted as joint book-running managers.
• Barclays Capital, BNP Paribas Securities, Credit Suisse Securities (USA), JP Morgan Securities, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith, Morgan Stanley & Co, UBS Securities and Wells Fargo Securities acted as joint lead managers.
• CIBC World Markets,  Jefferies & Company and The Williams Capital Group acted as co-managers for the offer.
