CBRE Global Investors £161.5 million acquisition of Park Plaza London Waterloo

Overview:

• CBRE Global Investors has acquired Park Plaza London Waterloo for £161.5 million from PPHE Hotel Group.
• Park Plaza has 494 rooms, restaurants, swimming pool, gym and a business centre. It is located on London's southbank near Waterloo station.
• The deal will see the two parties agree on a 199 year sale and leaseback agreement undertaken via Waterloo Hotel Holdings.
• The deal is the latest in a string of significant real estate acquisitions in central London in 2017.
