Adani Power $700 million acquistion of Korba West Power Company

Overview:

• Adani Power has acquired Korba West Power Company for $700 million from Avantha Power & Infrastructure.
• Korba West is the SPV which has commissioned the 600MW Korba coal power plant.
• Adani Power is India's largest private sector power developer with an operational capacity of 9240MW, comprising 4620MW at Mundra in Gujarat, 3300MW at Tiroda in Maharashtra and 1320MW at Kawai in Rajasthan.
