Dutch M&A boutique Vriesendorp Mees Ankum (Vriman) has announced the addition of a fifth partner to its practice.

Former Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer senior associate Menno Verboom joined the firm as of April 1. He joins existing partners Jan Vriesendorp, Bas Mees and Marius Ankum, all of whom also came from Freshfields, along with Meltem Koning-Gungormez who was formerly a counsel with Stibbe.

Despite only being established in February 2016 the firm has impressed in its first year of operation and was named the best M&A boutique firm at Dutch publication MENA's annual awards in December.
