Vinson & Elkins has hired two new finance lawyers in London.

John Dawson and Federico Fruhbeck both join Vinson & Elkins in its London office, enhancing the firm’s banking and high-yield practices.

Dawson joins from Clifford Chance and advises on acquisition and leveraged finance matters in addition to fund and real estate financings.

Recent work includes advising Alter Domus on its refinancing and Bridgepoint on the financing of the acquisition of Dr Gerard.

Fruhbeck joins as counsel from Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and focuses on high yield bond issues.

Recent work includes advising Grupo Antolin-Irausa and Gestamp Automoción on senior secured notes issues.
