Tilleke & Gibbins has expanded its Bangkok practice with the hires of two energy partners and one corporate partner.

Joseph Tomkiewicz, who brings with him 28 years' experience, joins the firm as co-head of its energy practice from Chevron South Asia, where he served as general counsel. At Chevron, Tomkiewicz oversaw all legal affairs for upstream operations across several jurisdictions, including Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Thailand and Vietnam.

Supasit Boonsanong, who boasts 35 years' experience in the oil and gas sector, joins the firm as co-head of its energy practice from Chandler MHM, where he acted as a senior partner. He specialises in advising energy and natural resources companies on a variety of matters including banking and finance, M&A, projects and joint ventures.

Prisna Sungwanna joins the firm as a corporate partner from Chandler MHM, where she held the position of senior partner. Sungwanna advises domestic and international organisations on matters such as mergers, joint ventures, and establishing entities in Thailand.

These appointments bring up Tilleke’s numbers to 30 partners and over 150 associates across South East Asia.
