SNG & Partners has hired a new associate partner to expand its one-year-old office in Singapore.

Kshitij Dua joins SNG & Partners from Straits Law Practice where he was foreign legal counsel.

Dua – who specialises in banking and finance, M&A, as well as corporate and regulatory compliance – will be working alongside Rahul Sud, who moved from India to Singapore last year to head operations at the new office.

Dua had previously worked at ICICI Bank and Opportunity International - a global microfinance organisation in Chicago – before joining Straits Law Practice.

SNG & Partners now has 19 partners. It opened its first overseas office in Singapore last year with a focus in financial services and has recently opened its second overseas office in Qatar, Doha with the hopes of strengthening its presence in the Middle East.
