In another example of lateral hiring between US firms and of the focus being put on private equity in London Morrison & Foerster (MoFo) has added a private equity partner to its UK practice.

Sloan acts on both corporate and finance transactions within the private equity sector. He is qualified in both England & Wales and Scotland and has a sector focus on IT, energy and oil and gas.

The move is the lates in a string of private equity hires in London ion the past few months which has also included the transfer of Solomon Wifa from O'Melveny & Myers to Willkie Farr and the move by a trio of private funds partners from Kirkland & Ellis to Fried Frank in the form of Mark Mifsud, Kate Downey and Alexandra Conroy.
