Morrison & Foerster (MoFo) has raided fellow US firm Schulte Roth & Zabel (SRZ) for two new restructuring and insolvency lawyers in London.

Peter Declerq and Sonya Van de Graaff join the firm after spending two years at SRZ, having joined the firm's UK office from Brown Rudnick in 2013.

The pair act for creditor side clients, primarily advising investment funds and banks on restructuring and insolvency cases. Van de Graaff also has experience of structured finance restructurings and acting on NPL portfolio sales.

Declerq is qualified in England and Wales, New York and the Netherlands, while Van de Graaf is dual qualified in England and Wales and Australia.

MoFo has also recently made moves to enhance its finance and private equity practices in London hiring M&A partner Graham Sloane to lead the UK corporate team, and derivatives specialist Vladimir Maly. Both partners moved from Latham & Watkins.
