Mason Hayes & Curran has hired a Dechert senior associate in Dublin as a partner in its financial services practice.

Investment funds lawyer Conor Durkin handles traditional and alternative investment vehicles, specialising in CIS (collective investment schemes). He also advises on financial services regulatory matters.

Mason Hayes is the second Irish firm to add a partner to funds offering in February. Earlier this month, Arthur Cox announced it had recruited Source general counsel Adrian Mulryan for its London team. Like his former employer, Mulryan is an ETF (exchange-traded fund) specialist, who advised on listing the first UCITS ETFs on SIX and the first Irish exchange-traded precious metal products.
