Latham & Watkins has added to its London based restructuring team with the addition of two new partners.
Yen Sum and Jennifer Brennan both join the firm from Sidley Austin, only a short time after they joined the US firm from Linklaters.
Sum moved from the 'magic circle' firm in late November 2016, with Brennan joining the following year.
Both lawyers focus on financial restructuring including both bank lending and bond deals. In addition they also advise on insolvency and pre-insolvency procedures including pre-packs, Chapter 11 procedures and debt for equity swaps.
Both lawyers are dual qualified in England and Wales and Australia, with Sum admitted in Victoria and Brennan in Queensland.
The move follows Latham's hire in May of another Linklaters alumni in the form of Carl Fernandes, a financial services regulatory partner.
