King & Spalding has hired a new partner in Atlanta.

Matthew Nichols, who focusses on financing for state and local governments, healthcare providers, and higher education, joins the firm from  Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein. He previously spent 25 years of his career at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan.
