Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW) has bolstered its corporate finance team in Paris after hiring a new partner and an associate from Orrick Rambaud Martel.

Jean-Marc Zampa, an IFLR1000 Leading lawyer, will join the US firm on April 21. He specialises in banking and finance with an emphasis on bank lending and acquisition, export and shipping finance.

Discussing his move, Zampa cited HFW's large London base as one reason behind his decision, going on to say it would provide a more interesting platform for the work he specialises in and allow him to offer a better service to his current clients.

Previously Zampa worked at Watson Farley & Williams and in-house at HSBC France.

Zampa's notable clients have included Crédit Agricole and Société Générale, which he was worked with on a number of large shipping finance deals.
