Goodwin Procter has expanded its corporate practice in London with a hire from King & Spalding.

Markus Bauman focuses on M&A ad equity capital markets matters and will join the technology and life sciences practice at his new firm.

Bauman practices New York law and is also a registered foreign lawyer in England and Wales.

His recent work includes advising Delivery Hero and Eddie Stobart Logistics on their respective IPOs and further work for Delivery Hero on the sale of a 30% stake to Rocket Internet.

Goodwin Procter has added a number of lawyers to its private equity and investment funds practices in London over the last year including Mark Soundy (an IFLR1000 Leading Lawyer) and Sarah Priestley in the former area who joined from Shearman & Sterling, and a team of funds lawyers from the former King & Wood Mallesons.
