Gibson Dunn & Crutcher has expanded its financial regulatory team in London with the addition of a new partner.

James Perry (an IFLR1000 Leading lawyer) joins the team from Ashurst where he had been part of the financial institutions group. He focuses on the financial services and insurance industries and advises on non-contentious regulatory and M&A matters.

More specifically he advises on corporate governance, prudential/regulatory capital, conduct and markets issues including advice on EU regulations.

Perry joins a number of other former Ashurst colleagues at the US firm including Nigel Stacey, Carlie Geffen and Jonathan Earle,
