Leading African law firm, GENI & KEBE, is pleased to welcome Australian lawyer Louisa Gibbs to the firm as Special Counsel.

Ms Gibbs holds an LLB (Hons) and BA from the University of Melbourne. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria (Australia) in 2000 and has spent much of the past years living and working in Vietnam and Solomon Islands, gaining a good appreciation of the challenges and opportunities for commercial ventures and development projects in emerging market contexts.

Ms Gibbs is delighted to be joining GENI & KEBE and is looking forward to working closely with clients to achieve successful outcomes. "It is a privilege to be working with such an internationally experienced team in West Africa," Ms Gibbs commented. "On top of their local knowledge and expertise, the staff have studied and worked in a range of other countries and have an excellent record in conducting pan-African work."

Managing Partner Mouhamed Kebe is pleased to welcome an Australian to the team. "There are always benefits from listening to new ideas from practitioners with experience from around the globe," he said.

Chambers Global, which provides reviews of the world’s leading law firms, acknowledges GENI & KEBE as "one of Senegal’s premier firms thanks to its international approach and high standard of work."
