Foley & Lardner has added two new members to its Chicago office's corporate practice.
Lou Cohen and Elgie Sims Jr join the firm from Locke Lord and the Illinois state senate, respectively.
At Locke Lord, Cohen concentrated on large real estate transactions. His most notable former clients inlclude the owner of the Chicago Soho House Club and the city of Atlanta during redevelopment negotiations for its professional football stadium.
Sims' areas of expertise are the processes of state and local governments, and he will be part of Foley & Lardner's government and public policy and public finance practices.
These additions come only a few short days since Foley & Gardner bolstered its private equity and venture capital practice with a new hire.
