Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow has hired a new M&A partner to its corporate team in Singapore.

Min-tze Lean joins the firm from the former Stamford Law – now Morgan Lewis Stamford - where he advised clients in M&A, restructuring and insolvency, employment and competition law.

Lean’s hire follows Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow’s recruitment of capital markets expert Chen Yih Pong in October last year. Morgan Lewis Stamford is the recent merger between Singaporean law firm Stamford Law and US law firm Morgan Lewis & Bockius, the first full integration of a law firm in the city-state with an international outfit.
