The Africa Legal Network (ALN) has added a new member firm in Botswana.
Desai Law Group (DLG) is fronted by former Collins Newman & Co partner and IFLR1000 Leading Lawyer Rizwan Desai.
DLG also recently merged with real estate boutique firm Akheel Jinabhai.
Collins Newman used to be the network's Botswana arm.
In a press release ALN emphasised the importance of Botswana as a "gateway to the Southern African Development Community (SADC)".
ALN has coverage across a range of countries in sub-Saharan Africa including Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
