Adrian CHIRVASE, Partner, has obtained the title White Collar Crime Lawyer of the Year, the trophy was granted at the LMG Life Sciences Awards Gala EMEA 2024 which took place in London on May 16.
The Life Sciences Awards aim to recognize the outstanding involvement, in research and life sciences projects, of leading lawyers and law firms in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. For this title, Adrian CHIRVASE competed alongside six other lawyers, with important activity in the region.

Adrian CHIRVASE is the coordinator of the Prevention, Compliance and Criminal Business Law team at POPESCU & ASSOCIATII. He has extensive experience in the field of business criminal law and economic crime, representing, in criminal proceedings, numerous companies or businesspeople operating in various fields.
Most of his mandates represent highly complex and multidisciplinary cases, working closely with the firm's clients (mostly multinational corporations, large local companies or important businesspeople) to understand their needs before recommending the right solution.
Adrian is also specialized in conducting internal investigations to identify corporate fraud, internal audits or whistleblowing procedures, as well as advising companies in the prevention sector involving consulting activities with the aim of anticipating and/or identifying risks of criminal relevance, including: preliminary legal analyses, legal opinions or memoranda on various aspects of criminal law and criminal procedural law, assisting and representing clients in connection with extrajudicial proceedings to avoid criminal implications or complex risks, preparing and concluding large-scale civil settlements wide, with a view to the amicable settlement of some civil damages in criminal proceedings.
