Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe has added additional capacity to its corporate team in London with a new partner hire.
Shawn Atkinson is set to join the team later in the year from Edwards Wildman. He focuses primarily on private equity and has acted for the likes of Bain Capital on a $3.5 billion take private of Edgars Consolidated Stories in South Africa.
Atkinson was previously a senior associate at Kirkland & Ellis and joined the Edwards Wildman team in 2010.
