Gide Loyrette Nouel has enhanced its Polish capital markets practice with the addition of two lawyers from Greenberg Traurig Grzesiak.

Mateusz Chmielewski will head up the new capital markets practice in the Warsaw office and in March will be joined by Dorota Jenerowicz.

Chmielewski acts on both debt and equity matters including share issues, bonds, high yield placements and MTN programmes. Before joining Greenberg he had previously worked for Ashurst in both London and Singapore.

Jenerowicz primarily acts on equity matters including issues on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. She also advises on corporate governance and regulatory issues.

Gide is best known in Poland for its general finance practice, while Greenberg is considered one of the markets strongest capital martkets firms, particualrly in regard to equity issues.
