Global law firm DLA Piper has added three new partners to its corporate team in Singapore.
John Viverito and Myles Hankin join the firm from the Singapore office of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, and Joseph Bauerschmidt joins from Jones Day.
Viverito has 20 years’ experience in Asia in general corporate and commercial transactions. He specialises in energy matters, particularly in infrastructure project developments.
Hankin has 15 years’ experience advising on energy and natural resources matters. He spent extended periods in Mongolia, Myanmar, Singapore and Thailand where he also covered infrastructure, project finance, construction and transport, real estate, structured finance and M&A.
Bauerschmidt has over two decades experience in the energy industry. He focuses on securities offerings in the public and private capital markets, and acts for banks and corporate issuers.
Viverito will take on the role of managing partner for the Singapore office, and Bauerschmidt will join as head of capital markets for South East Asia.
