CMS has hired asset finance partner Keith Wilson to lead its London aircraft finance team.
Wilson moves from Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) and advises on aircraft related capital markets issues, leasing transactions and portfolio M&A. He also has experience in other sectors including oil and gas, ship and real estate finance.
The move is the latest in a series of partner departures from the BLP finance team, which includes real estate finance partners Andrew Fleming and Jo Solomon, structured finance partner Lucy Oddy and general finance partners Matthew Kellett, Lisa Marks, Michael Weir and Trevor Wood.
Andrew Ivision CMS’s head of infrastructure and project finance said of the hire: “Keith’s appointment not only strengthens our asset finance capability in the UK, but enhances CMS’ reputation and coverage more generally across a number of key asset classes and builds on other CMS developments taking place in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.”
