Siaska has broad experience in Labor Law, Data Privacy, Competition and Compliance, Telecommunications, Energy and Infrastructure, Concessions, Public Bids and Privatizations, as well as Administrative Law; she has experience in Anticorruption and Corporate matters advising local and multinational companies.

She was Partner for 21 years in a renowned firm in Panama and was in charge of supervising all the governmental procedures and negotiation formalities, collections inside the Litigation department and exercised as adviser of foreign investors in the main processes of privatization in the areas of energy, water, sugar, cements, among others.

In Telecommunications, she directed the group in charge of drafting the General Law of Telecommunications of Panama and its Regulation Decree in 1995, still binding.

From 2005 to 2009 she was Editor-in-Chief of the national newspaper La Prensa, the one with the largest impact on the Panamanian national and political agenda. After her career in the newspaper, she went back to private practice, opening the Arias Panama office in 2011. She has been the Managing Partner since 2016.

  • Arias Panama (Siaska SSS Lorenzo) represented Spectrum Brands in its labour affairs in Panama regarding its $1.25 billion global sale of the Global Auto Care business to Energizer. Providedlabour legal advice to Middleton-based Spectrum (NYSE: SPB), in its sell of the global auto care business to Energizer Holdings Inc. (NYSE: ENR) of St. Louis in a transaction valued at $1.25 billion. The transaction consists of $937.5 million of cash and $312.5 million of Energizer Holdings equity.
  • Arias Panama (Siaska SSS Lorenzo) represented Spectrum Brands in its labour affairs in Panama regarding its intention to sale its $2.2 billion appliances business. Arias Panama provided labour legal advice and Due Diligence report for Spectrum Brands, who are a major supplier of appliances products including Russell Hobbs, Black and Decker, Kwikset locks, George Foreman grills, and Hot Shot bug sprays. Spectrum Brands placed its appliance business up for sale, expecting to get between $2.2 billion to $2.5 billion for the business.
