  • Acting for Reliance Group in connection with its auction sale of the Gulf Africa Petroleum Corporation, a company with significant presence in Eastern Africa in the downstream petroleum sector to Total Outer-Merl;
  • Advising on Millicom’s acquisition of an 85% stake in Zanzibar Telecom (Zantel) from Etisalat Group which resulted in Millicom International Cellular becoming the second largest operator in Tanzania;
  • Acting for Kuramo Capital Management, an independent investment management firm, in connection with its investment for 24.99% of the shares in Trans-century, a company listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange;
  • Acting for Africa Export-Import Bank, in connection with a USD 315 million multi-jurisdictional syndicated debt facility to a leading telecommunication group;
  • Acting for IFC, CDC Group and AFCAP, in connection with the first ever underwriting of CRDB Bank being the second largest commercial bank in Tanzania Rights Issue of TZS 152 billion;
  • Advisor to Stanbic Bank Tanzania and CfC Stanbic Bank Limited as the arrangers for the Medium Term Note Issue for T.Shs 32.6billon by Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank   on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange.
