His practice is centred on supporting complex domestic and cross border transactions for Indian and multinational clients.
He regularly advises clients across a wide range of sectors, and his strong understanding of legal, regulatory, and commercial nuances across industries enables him to work seamlessly with clients on complex transaction structures. He is also actively involved in real estate financing transactions, including advising an Alternative Investment Fund on debt financing for the completion of stalled housing projects.
He has also advised multiple foreign companies on their India entry strategies, M&A, and joint ventures. His experience includes representing a Finnish technology company on the acquisition of an Indian telecom IT solutions provider, advising a Singapore sovereign wealth fund on a joint venture for high-end real estate development, assisting an American multinational technology company on an asset purchase as part of a global acquisition, and representing an Indian multinational outsourcing company on an acquisition in the business correspondent space. He has further advised an international oil company on its India expansion, including regulatory, FEMA, real estate, intellectual property, and M&A matters.
