Monia advises on general finance related matters, contractual relationships, syndicated loans, compliance & regulatory, as well as mobile banking, fintech, and cryptocurrency related specific aspects. She is particularly well recognised for advising on project finance, with a special focus on real estate financing.

Monia advises both lenders and borrowers on corporate lending and restructuring projects and has been involved in many landmark transactions. Her regular clients include banks and financial institutions, such as EBRD, China Development Bank, CA Indosuez, Sberbank, PPF Banka, Goldman Sachs, and large corporations across many industries, including Monsanto, Abbott Laboratories, L'Oréal, Teconnex, Novares, Kaufland, Adesgo, just to name a few.

She has extensive experience in Real Estate & Construction and was involved in a large number of high-profile transactions acting for landlords, tenants, lenders, developers, and main contractors, as well as various international brokers and consultants. She advises on a broad range of legal issues pertaining to real estate, regulatory matters and authorizations, property portfolio restructuring, and real estate securities.

• Advised EBRD on a EUR 16 million facility granted to TeraPlast Group, a Romanian producer of materials for installation, construction, and design markets, for the implementation of three projects developed by group entities from Romania, and the CEE region.
• Advised Google on all Romanian legal aspects of its acquisition of Fitbit for a total equity value of approximately USD 2.1 billion.
• Advised Spectrum Brands Unit, a $5 billion consumer products company, in connection with the $2 billion sale of its global battery and portable lightning business to Energizer Holding Inc., one of the world's largest manufacturers of primary batteries and portable lighting products.
• Advised Brookfield Business Partners L.P., the flagship listed business services and industrial company of Brookfield Asset Management Inc., in connection with the $13.2 billion acquisition of 100% of Johnson Controls’ Power Solutions (JCPS) business.
• Advised Teconnex, part of the Hexadex Group and a world class manufacturer of specialized jointing solutions including V-clamps, Band Clamps and Pressed Clamps, in connection with its business expansion in Romania.
