  • Recently advised a domestic household name insurer on the financial aspects of an acquisition valued at around 15 million Euros, including specific advice on existing financing, guarantees and security interests linked to the target company, and the creation of new security interests in favour of a new third-party lender
  • Advised on the financial aspects of an acquisition by a Luxembourgish company of a Swedish company for approximately 10 million Euros via a facility agreement, subordination agreement, share pledge agreement, and a receivables pledge agreement
  • Provided an extended capacity opinion relating to the entering into of subordination agreements by a Luxembourgish holding company, having granted various UK subsidiaries in its portfolio certain shareholder loans
  • Advising an investment partnership on investments valued at approximately 146 million Euros (made by notes issued in various companies and secured by account pledges) made by it into a German insurance group's Luxembourgish subsidiary which was subsequently put into liquidation 
  • Advising another household name global insurer on personal and in rem securities and which to use to ensure a better level of protection under Luxembourg law
