José Evenor Taboada

He has more than 50 years of experience in the banking and finance, telecommunications, mining and retail sectors. His experience includes legal services to the Nicaraguan government in foreign debt negotiations with major commercial banks, the IDB, the World Bank and the IMF, as well as the Paris Club. He has served as president of the Central Bank of Nicaragua and of Inversiones Financieras. He has also been a member of the board of directors of the Superintendence of Banks and Financial Institutions.

In 2014 he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by Chambers & Partners, recognizing his exceptional career as a lawyer in the American Continent.
